Commemorate the true story of the Barefoot Mailman, who delivered mail on foot along the beach from Palm Beach to Miami from 1885-1892.  Make your own history where the Barefoot Mailman walked, racing either barefoot or "shod"--your choice.  Run the 5-kilometer or 10-kilometer race on the sand at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park (formerly John U. Lloyd State Park) in Dania Beach.  Race day is the Sunday before Christmas, December 23rd.  Don't forget to bring your out-of-town family, too!
