You asked for it and we heard you!  Back by popular demand, the Sand Key International and Sprint Triathlon returns to Clearwater on Saturday September 25, 2021.  Sand Key Park is a fantastic venue to hold a triathlon.  Make this a destination race, come for the race and stay for the weekend!

The course begins with an open water swim (.25 or .5 miles) in the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico at Sand Key Park. From there, the bike route (10 or 20 miles) takes you south on Gulf Blvd through Bellair Beach and Indian Rocks Beach before turning around and heading back north in the bike lane to return to Sand Key Park.  This is a flat and fast bike course! This will be a two loop course for International athletes. Runners complete the race with a run (3.1 or 6.2 mile) completely contained within Sand Key Park.
